We now have access to the Basment Social Centre and the clean up is beginning. There is a lot of work to do. It’s pretty damp and mucky in places, but not as bad as we feared.
There is still no electricity but this is being worked on.
A group of volunteers went down Monday night to make an initial assessment of the damage. It is not fantastic but can be sorted out with a lot of elbow grease and love!
The first 3 (of many) workdays are as follows:
Saturday 27th May – 10am onwards
Sunday 28th May – 10am onwards
Monday 29th May 10am onwards
