The Minorca Opencast Protest Group has been formed to oppose plans already submitted by UK Coal plc for an Opencast Coal Mine between Measham and Swepstone in Leicestershire, England. The application was submitted in July 2009, but has yet to be decided on by Leicestershire County Council (as at 7/12/09).
